The 1st International Conference – “Challenges and strategies for sustainable development facing climate change” 19-20 October 2023

International Conference “Multidimensional trends in sustainable development” – “Multidimensional tendencies in sustainable development”, first edition, 2023, is initiated by the Research Centre for Sustainable Rural Development of Romania within the Romanian Academy, Timisoara Branch.

The conference has a multidisciplinary character and addresses fundamental and forward-looking issues in different areas related to sustainable development, which takes into account all sustainability dimensions, economic development, environmental protection, and social well-being.

The first edition of the conference will take place between October 19-20, 2023, with the title: “Challenges and strategies for sustainable development facing climate change”.

Climate change is among humanity’s biggest global challenges as a major problem for sustainability. For the strategies’ implementation, it is important to acknowledge the challenges and the opportunities for climate change adaptation, the aim of the conference targeting open debates involving all fields of speciality.
