Conceptual framework used to aid decision-making

Quote
The Cynefin Framework is and has been used in almost every conceivable sector: whether strategy, police work, international development, public policy, military, counterterrorism, safety, energy, healthcare, sales or education it has had something to offer. In this video, Dave Snowden introduces the Cynefin framework with a brief explanation of its origin and evolution and a detailed discussion of its architecture and function. (The Cynefin CO)
Abstract
The Cynefin framework was developed by David J. Snowden in 1999. It aims to help leaders understand that every situation is different and requires a unique approach to decision making.

Cynefin offers five decision-making contexts or “domains”—clear (known as simple until 2014, then obvious until being recently renamed), complicatedcomplexchaotic, and confusion—that help managers to identify how they perceive situations and make sense of their own and other people’s behaviour.
